When an item is created, the user who created it is set as the Owner. Using the Properties view, you can change the owner of an item.

Prerequisites

• You must be either the current owner of the item or a root user in the system

To change the owner of an item:

1. In the structure tree, select the item(s) whose ownership you want to change. Multi-select of items is supported.
2. Click on Change owner. The Select User dialog will display.
   
3. Select the new owner from the list of active users and click OK (or double-click on the user entry). The ownership of the item is immediately changed.
