ReqIF (Requirements Interchange Format) is a standard interchange format for requirements specifications that can be used to exchange requirements between software tools. The standard facilitates the exchange of requirements between suppliers and OEMs and is supported by several industrial tools. SystemWeaver provides support for export and import of requirements using the standard ReqIF format. 

Exchanging requirements with SystemWeaver is a straightforward process, and can be used in a roundtrip scenario as illustrated below. In addition, there is also an option to capture comments on requirements exported from SystemWeaver, and then import those comments back into SystemWeaver.
