At some point, you may have the need to reopen a closed iteration so that its issues display be default in the views using iterations. This article describes how to re-activate a closed iteration. 

Prerequisites

• You must have access rights to the project
• The use of Iterations is activated for the project
• The selected view displays iterations

To reactivate a closed iteration, use the Show closed iterations option to bring the closed iteration into the view. 

Select the closed iteration row in the view. Its Properties, the Name and Status, will appear to the right. 

Change the Status to Active. The iteration and its issues will now display by default in the views where iterations are used.
