This article provides some resolutions to encountered ReqIF Export problems.
The images are missing when the ReqIF is imported into another tool.
Message:
Image not found.
Resolution:
To begin with, check that the export was done by using the Save as... button:
The paths to the images must be relative. If you are seeing something like data="_images/_img1.png or data="//Client/C$/Temp/ABS2(2)_images/x0400000012D35C9E/ABS2(2)_images/abs_img1.png"in the exported ReqIF file, then the "export" was likely not done by clicking the Save as... button. Instead, the user who exported the ReqIF may have copied the export content from the View tab and saved that as the export.
The export content shown on the View tab will only include "dummy placeholders" for the image paths. One must use the Save as... button.
If the above does not solve the image problem, make sure that the person importing the ReqIF has the reqif file and it's corresponding images folder next to each other when doing the import. If that is confirmed and there is still a problem, zip the two into a .reqifz zip file.
