Purpose
This policy aims to provide predictable guidelines for SystemWeaver's product support as a way of helping customers manage their IT investments while strategically planning for the future. At the same time, it allows us to focus on new development to provide top-quality products.
SystemWeaver End-Of-Engineering-Support (EOES)
12 months after Release Date
- Prior to the EOES date, SystemWeaver will primarily address reported critical* defects by provisioning Service Packs (not upgrade) to ensure limited downtime through non-conformance of product during the end of life process transition
- After the EOES date, SystemWeaver will, at its discretion, choose the way a critical defect is corrected for an active version, i.e., one that has not reached End of Life, assuming software maintenance is up-to-date
Note: Non-critical defects are submitted to Development, and subsequent fixes are included in future releases in accordance with a variety of considerations. See How to Report a Problem. |
SystemWeaver End-of-Support (EOSP)
24 months after Release Date
- Prior to the EOSP date, SystemWeaver will provide helpdesk support for issues relating to a specific version of SystemWeaver. For versions that are supported, customers can raise issues via Support : SystemWeaver
- After the EOSP date, a version is considered to have reached its End of Life (EOL). SystemWeaver will not provide support for versions that have reached EOL. The only exception is for assistance related to upgrading from your EOL version to a supported version
