This article describes how to delete an iteration.
Prerequisites
- You must have "Change" access rights to the CMS project OR the Administrator role in the server.
- The use of Iterations is activated for the project
- The iteration does not contain any issues
- Iterations are included in the view definition
If the iteration that you want to delete is closed, you will need to first click on Show closed interations to include the display of closed interations.
Then, select the iteration to be deleted. The iteration Properties will display in the right-side pane.
To delete the empty iteration, click Delete.
If the Delete option is grayed out, the iteration contains issues. In the below example, there are 2 issues in the R34-A iteration. Those will need to be unassigned from the iteration before it can be deleted.
Note: If ALL iterations are deleted, the use of iterations will be turned off for the project. Any views configured to display iterations will need to be updated to remove <Iterations/>. The use of iterations can be reactivated at any time. |
