A SystemWeaver Notification Server is used for sending notification emails to SystemWeaver users upon certain issue management events, e.g., when an issue has been assigned to a user.

The notification server listens for events from the SystemWeaver server, picks out those that should result in a notification email, reads additional information required for the notification message from the server, and sends an email message to an SMTP server.

The configuration of the notification server is defined in the swNotificationServer.ini file as described in Configuring the SystemWeaver Notification Server.
