I’m releasing a structure with the complete status view. It
says that I have multiple versions of several items but I cannot find them in
the structure. Is it a bug?

You should remember that the Complete Status accounts for _all_ occurrences of items in the item structure, while the visible structure in the Item Structure Tree only shows a subset thereof.
A common example is Description References which (due to a special mathematical phenomena) should not be seen in the tree.
Another, rather exotic, case is RefObjs, which cannot be seen in the tree.
