The User type attribute supports the input of values equal to the Names of all users defined in the SystemWeaver server. In other words, it provides users with a validated list of values, and does not support any user names that are not in the system.

When creating an attribute of type User, the only requirements are a SID and a Name.

Valid Data Types: Single, Set

Support for Default Value: No

Allows Empty Value: Yes

Configurable Editor: Yes, width, but not height

Things to Consider

• User attributes can typically only be imported as user attributes in certain scenarios. See How to Import User Attribute Values for more information.
• In a Set of Users attribute editor, the word wrap functionality is shut off. Consider widening the width of the editor if all user values are not viewable.
